INTRODUCTION
Founded in 2016, Eastleigh in the Community Ladies now play their football in the Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division, after being promoted through an official appeal.
After having their 2020/21 season curtailed due to the CoronaVirus pandemic, the League implemented a World Cup style tournament named the Subsidiary Cup. After failing to qualify for the knockout rounds of the Cup, Eastleigh Ladies went all the way to win the Subsidiary Plate.
The SilverLake stadium is the home venue for the Ladies, therefore allowing access to all the facilities of a Professional Football Stadium in order to bring more parity between the men’s and women’s game.
Eastleigh FC (commonly known as the Spitfires) have Girls football from U12’s all the way up to the main ladies team, which is selected, yearly, by the Manager from trials.
